LOCAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

DELIVERY CHARGES
If your space is accessible and the room is empty, Bowen does not charge for local delivery.

REARRANGING FURNITURE
We will rearrange existing furniture only on approval by our Drivers.  The cost is $75 per hour.  Payment by cash or check is required at time of delivery.

MOVING FURNITURE
The movement of household goods between locations is regulated by the N.C. Utilities Commission, requiring a special license. Unfortunately, we cannot transport any of your household goods to another location. 

RETURNS
You may return furniture, excluding mattresses, purchased from our stock within 30 days of purchase.  However, we do not deliver furniture on approval.  You will be charged a $75 pick-up fee when furniture is returned by our trucks. Sorry, no exceptions.

CANCELLATIONS
Furniture ordered from a factory for you is a Non-Cancelable Special Order.  If you cancel or change your order after it is in place with the manufacturer, a 30% restocking fee is required.

SERVICE POLICY AND CHARGES
Manufacturer warranties, if any, vary by manufacturer. In general, manufacturers' service policies provide for repair or replacement, at their option, of any defects in materials or workmanship for one year from date of purchase excluding transportation and shipping charges. Bowen Town and Country will assist in obtaining these services at no charge for one year from date of purchase.  After one year, Bowen will provide In-Home Service at $75 per hour plus parts, materials, and shipping charges.

UPHOLSTERY FABRICS AND LEATHERS
Bowen, nor the manufacturer, warrants the wearing ability, color-fastness, stretching, shrinking, or cleanability of furniture coverings as they are not warranted by the weavers, mills, tanneries, or upholstery companies that apply them. Dye lot variations will occur between sample swatches and the final product. Be sure you understand the wearing character of the upholstery material selected.

Bowen makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the products described on your order and specifically makes no warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Bowen will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use these products.
