TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

DEPOSITS:  A 1/3 deposit is required on all orders.

BALANCES:  Balances are due at time of delivery by check or before delivery by bank card.

STORAGE:  Merchandise held over 30 days must be paid in full.  A storage fee of 2% per month applies after 30 days

DELIVERY:  A $50 Delivery Fee is charged for local delivery and placement in the home.  Please make sure the furniture will fit and that the space is accessible. Additional charges apply for deliveries over 100 miles and any rearranging of existing furniture.  Rearranging requests and related charges must be agreed to at time of sale.  We accept no responsibility for damage if goods are rearranged.   

MOVING FURNITURE:  The movement of household goods between locations is regulated by the N.C. Utilities Commission and requires a special license. Unfortunately, we cannot transport any of your household goods to another location. 

RETURNS:  You may return furniture, excluding mattresses, purchased from our stock within 30 days of purchase for credit or refund of the merchandise.  An additional Pick-Up charge of $50 will apply in addition to the original delivery fee.  We do not deliver furniture on a trial basis.

CANCELLATIONS:  Furniture ordered from a factory cannot be cancelled.  If you do cancel or change your order after it is placed with the manufacturer, a 1/3 restocking fee will be charged.

ONE YEAR SERVICE POLICY:  Manufacturer warranties, if any, vary by manufacturer. In general, manufacturers' service policies provide for repair or replacement, at their option, of goods with any defects in materials or workmanship for one year from date of purchase excluding transportation and shipping charges. Bowen Town and Country will assist in obtaining these services for one year from date of purchase.  Thereafter, inspection charges, transportation charges, parts and labor are billed at our customary rates. 

UPHOLSTERY, LEATHERS, AND BEDDING:  Neither Bowen, nor the manufacturer, warrants the wearing ability, color-fastness, stretching, shrinking, or cleanability of furniture coverings as they are not warranted by the weavers, mills, tanneries, or upholstery companies. Dye lot variations will occur between sample swatches and the final product. Be sure you understand the wearing character of the upholstery material selected. Animal hair on upholstery and stains on mattresses void any manufacturer warranty or service provision. Comfort is not warranted.

Bowen will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use these products.
